We want to ensure your experience at Rejuvenation Clinic of Sauk Prairie is as pleasant and relaxing as possible. With that in mind, we’ve answered some commonly asked questions people have before they come to our skincare clinic. We invite you to read through our FAQs to prepare for your upcoming visit. Not finding what you are looking for or need additional information? Feel free to contact us.
What Are Your Hours?
Starting November 4th, 2024, we’ll be extending our hours. We’re excited to have longer and more consistent hours for retail and services along with offering TWO days of evening appointments! The clinic will be open Monday’s 8-5 pm, Tuesday’s 8-5 pm, Wednesday’s 8-7 pm, Thursday’s 8-7 pm and Friday’s 8-5 pm.
How Long Have You Been in Business?
Rejuvenation Clinic of Sauk Prairie opened in October 2011 by Michelle Niesen, a Physician Assistant who grew up in Sauk Prairie and practiced in her hometown Family Medicine clinic for several years. Soon after opening, her co-owner Angie Mack, a Registered Nurse, best friend and also a local from Sauk Prairie, joined her. At that time, non-surgical medical skincare clinics or medispas were up-and-coming and there was nothing similar for miles around, with the exception of Madison.
We started out as a small clinic of 600 sq feet in a multi-office unit and have proudly expanded over the years to our current location with 3000 sq feet of dedicated aesthetic space. Our skincare clinic provides a welcoming reception and retail area with a more private clinical space that includes 5 treatment rooms, a photo room and consultation room. Our staff has expanded from Michelle and Angie to another Registered Nurse, two Aestheticians, an Office Manager, Medical Assistant and two Clinic Coordinators. Our goal has always been to stay small yet mighty. We want you to feel comfortable and well-known to us yet provide you with timely appointments and great service.
What Areas Do You Serve?
Rejuvenation Clinic of Sauk Prairie is proud to be one of the most experienced non-surgical skincare clinics in the area. We’re conveniently located about 30 minutes north of Madison, Wisconsin and enjoy seeing people from several surrounding communities in Southwest and Central Wisconsin. Interestingly, we have some very dedicated people who travel here from Chicago, Rockford, Milwaukee, LaCrosse and Wausau areas!
What Services Do You Provide?
With the purchase of our 1st Sciton Joule light and laser platform in 2011, we were immediately able to offer laser hair removal, BroadBand Light, SkinTyte, MicroLaser Peels and much more. We’re proud to provide DiamondGlow facials, HydraFacials, microneedling and chemical peels. We also utilize FDA-approved aesthetic injectables such as dermal fillers (Restylane, Juvederm) and neurotoxins (Dysport, Botox). In addition, we’ve developed Rejuvenation Clinic Body Suite where we offer non-surgical body treatments such as sclerotherapy, CoolSculpting, Emsculpt NEO and Emsella.
How Much Are Your Treatments and Products?
When it comes to facial and body skin treatments, experience and quality matter. We’re proud of our highly trained clinicians who dedicate themselves to ongoing education, provide excellent care and safety and obtain exceptional results.
While we understand our treatments are a want and not a need, we’ve always tried to provide excellent value. For example, Michelle tells the story of treating skin tags in Family Practice. She was typically allowed to treat 3-5 tags, the service was not covered by insurance, and the charge would be about $300. At Rejuvenation Clinic of Sauk Prairie, we can safely and swiftly treat 10+ skin tags for a similar price and better cosmetic result.
We don’t like to quote general pricing as every person is uniquely different and we are not performing cookie-cutter treatments. However, we have a range of treatments such as DiamondGlow facials for $225 all the way up to a Liquid Facelift for $3500.
Do You Have Any Specials and If So, What Are They?
We’ve started to shift our focus less on specials and more on quality. You get what you pay for and most of our treatments depend on the provider’s experience, skill and education, state-of-the-art devices and high-quality products.
Despite this, we love to have fun! Please check out our News/Events/Promotions page to see what’s new and happening in the clinic. We often celebrate milestones, new product lines, and host educational events with other aesthetic providers. We also provide special events such as the launch of our new Emface device in which raffles and complimentary treatments are offered or Makeup/Skincare events where everyone leaves with some freebies to try out!
Are Consultations Free?
The initial consultation is complimentary. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and understand your unique skin needs, goals, and financial considerations. We do require a credit card on file and in case of a no-show or late cancellation, a $100 fee would be charged. Appointments are a treasured resource so if you become a patient, we’ll have a list of other office policies for you to review.
Can I Do My Consultation and Treatment on the Same Day?
In general, treatments are difficult to complete on the same day as your consultation. The consultation is what determines your treatment plan and often requires reservation of specific equipment or rooms. However, we have been known to offer a same day Dysport or Botox treatment if time allows and it’s determined that you’re a good candidate! If you’re driving from farther away, occasionally we’ve utilized virtual consultations so that you can make as few trips as possible.
When can I get in? How far are you booking out?
The answer depends on many different factors such as: your schedule, which treatment(s) you wish to have, how long the appointment will take, or is this our “busy” season. For example, laser treatments fill up quickly in the fall and winter as people are getting ready for the holidays or Spring Break. Or injectable services may book quickly before wedding season.
We try our best to get you an appointment within a couple of weeks as we know you’re excited to start your rejuvenation. We also have an active waiting or cancellation list so if you have some flexibility and would like to get in sooner, let us know and we’ll be sure to call you!
Do You Send Appointment Reminders?
Appointment confirmations and reminders will be sent to your email and/or text number you provide us. You’ll receive the confirmation when your appointment is made plus a reminder one week before your appointment. We’ll ask you to confirm that you’re coming through email or text. If you do not confirm, then a third and final reminder will be sent three days before your appointment.
What If I Need to Reschedule?
When booking an appointment, we require a credit card on file and request TWO BUSINESS DAYS (M-F) in order to cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty.
If notice is given less than TWO BUSINESS DAYS or you don’t show up for your appointment, you will be charged a $100 cancellation or no-show fee and will not be able to re-book until the fee is processed. If you accumulate several short notice cancellations, you may be subject to pre-pay for the entire upcoming service(s) or possibly be discharged from the clinic.
How are payments handled?
We accept a number of different payment methods, including:
- Cash
- Check
- Credit Card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard)
- Sauk-Prairie Chamber of Commerce bucks
- Gift Cards
- CareCredit
Many appointments are scheduled for 1-3+ hours. Therefore, we require a ONE WEEK notice and non-refundable $500 deposit on ALL appointments booked one hour or more such as (but not limited to): CoolSculpting, Any Resurfacing Lasers (Halo, Moxi, Trifecta), Microneedling, Dermal Filler, etc.
Do You Offer Some Kind of Payment Plan? What is CareCredit?
We do offer a simple, easy to sign-up payment plan called CareCredit. CareCredit is a health and wellness credit card with flexible financing options. Our terms with CareCredit includes 6-12 month interest-free financing and allows you to set up your payments on a monthly basis.
